    Its nothing like this though:

But Soriano is nothing like these:

I think Soriano gets it before go, but not as much as Ortiz or Pujols or bagwell... etc.

I think he makes up for it. His torque action is so strong, that to me, when I "feel" his swing, I feel a all torque action. I feel a spring just absolutely unloading! I just don't feel the his hip pushing as early as some other guys... like Kent:

Maybe, the rate at which they fire varies from player to player. This could affect adjustability correct? If so, could that help explain his K's and lower BA?

As I watch Soriano more, I see more connection. He looks like abreu.

He doesn't look like this too much:

      More like this:

Soriano's leg first starts to push around the same time as Abreu...

I guess my point is that to me, it looks like Soriano is going about it at a different way. What do you think?

The video of Soriano that you posted was cropped too soon. He's moving in the very first frame. Makes me wonder if he was moving in the cropped frames.

        What does this one show?

I see at least 6 frames of knee/leg push before any upper body movement.

Soriano also has more of a near counter-rotation look and feel of a down and in shoulder. Thus to me even just a small visual amount of him movement (that which we see) is creating separation. So while his doesn't appear to move as much as the other guy's, I don't think it needs to due to his setup.
