Your daughter is not pushing the barrel. She is whipping it. But she's whipping it wrongly.....VERY INEFFICIENTLY. Watch the speed of the barrel coming down the back side of the arc. You can't do that if you're pushing the barrel.

Her arms hold her bat. Yes, it is in her hands....but she doesn't use them. And she must get the bat into her hands so she can use them. She has rearward resistance from how she uses her back.....but she lacks the hand pivot point....therefore things can not sync up correctly. She must develop a forearm axle.
