...is not Hip Thrust...as in....I must extend my hip.
It is simply a RESULT of taking a SnF'd swing with a rearward turned barrel to the ball. the stretch is released upward....because that is where the ball is.
IT IS NOT an aggressive thrust of the hip upward by the muscles that thrust the hip.
HOWEVER.....PUSHING KEEPS THEIR SOLID CONTACT RATE LOWER THAN WHAT IT COULD BE.
When I discuss HI mechanics, I tell people to think of those few balls that get squared up perfectly. Then I ask them to imagine what it would be like if every hit was like that... That is the beauty of HI.
