Here's my view of it. As stated Brooke was way early on this. Which in turn she made an adjustment by leaving the hands behind. Now as I've told Buttermaker in PMs is that her hand path was bad which gives the look of her casting the barrel out. I love the HPP but I hate the hand path. If she takes her hands forward as she's pivoting the barrel her swing looks better.
WHO has a backbone? WHO will stand up for the truth?

P.S. Your hand path comment above is just plain poppeycock garbage. The hand path is a no teach. Absolutely a no teach. The body will do what it needs to do to get a turned and speeding barrel to the ball. The arms will let out....or not. It is totally pitch location and timing dependent.
ONLY A SWIVEL WILL CREATE THE HIGH LEVEL PATTERN.

I've spoken of the 'pinwheel' for 9 years now. I was the first to speak of it...how the bat is not swung in the rotational path of the shoulders....that the shoulders are bypassed....as the barrel is swung about the hand pivot point....which is the hands turning the barrel rearward....swiveling....which is in the same plane initially as the shoulder lateral tilt.
