A while back I asked why long jumpers and high jumpers jump off just ONE leg.
Of course.....no one answered.
Because the answer is OBVIOUS. You can jump further and higher off one leg....when you add the running start.
Sometimes the activity in question DEMANDS one leg to maximize the performance.
And hitting is one of those. THERE IS NO RUNNING START IF YOU USE TWO LEGS. And at high levels....the running start is critical.
Show me a hitter who runs his hips OPEN.....meaning gets a running start with his rotation....then ROTATES. If you do, you'll show us a guy who has trouble catching up to the fastball AND adjusting to the offspeed.
It is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE....for a two legged, two hipped spinal rotation rotator....to generate as much power, in as short amount of time, as SnF around one leg.
THAT IS A FACT.
And all he has to do is make a clip and post it to prove the truth of that statement.
But....the truth....is not his....not their....goal.
As soon as they are embarrassed off the board....by their work....or....by people ignoring them because they won't provide their work....the knowledge base will rise....and rise quickly.
But as long as you have wannabe's....who have NO EXPERIENCE....who have never done anything....confusing the reader.....with their MONITOR GUESSES.....hitting will remain in the 'I stumbled onto it' category....which just a few.....VERY FEW....ever do.
The notion....that anyone will listen to people who have never done anything....is stunning.
