  • Donny's "Total Presentation" Web Version

    ******************************************

This post was editing to provide new links to Donny's presentation (the previous links were corrupted).

    Presentation:
    http://groundup.hittingillustrated.c...iles/frame.htm

    PDF Version:
    http://groundup.hittingillustrated.c...esentation.pdf

    ******************************************

Donny Buster’s “Total Presentation” has been converted to a web viewable version for easy viewing.

    http://buster.hittingillustrated.com...iles/frame.htm

After left-clicking on a slide the “space bar” on your keyboard can be used to advance through the slides.

A few spelling corrections were made, but other than that the file has been left intact.

    Enjoy!

Thanks for producing that GroundUp. Well done.

I know Donny was very concerned about it's length. He was working on, and I think he created, a shorten version....I'm thinking in the 30-50 slide range.

It is good reading to us diehards. But Donny was concerned about getting something shorter for Joe Dad to be able to use as a starter guide until he graduated and needed the deeper details.

Donny's work continues to impress me and I find myself reviewing his material somewhat often. The intent was to make his information more readily available to others.

Note that I created a folder titled "presentations" and that Donny's "Total_Presentation" was placed in that folder. The notion of the "presentations" folder was to allow for the inclusion of other presentations that may be of noteworthy value.

Can we get Donny's presentation in a .pdf or something that can be printed? I'd like to have a hard copy to make notes on.

          Thanks.

I'm a new member, so I doubt my opinion matters much, but I would second YHF's request for a .pdf. That would be awesome for someone like me who's trying to learn but isn't too fond of looking at a computer screen all night after doing the same thing all day at work. Just my $.02

I'm pretty sure Donny would have wanted his work to be made available.

                              Nice job GroundUp.

I'm going to ask my son to help me rework the Hitting Illustrated Home Page.

I haven't done anything to that page since my tribute to Donny.

It's time to update it and I'm going to feature this pdf.

Can anyone summarize it....giving the jist of the information....but not overwhelming them....in say 20 slides or so?

I'd like to link to a "starter" program and then have another link to the details.....this presentation.

Donny was very marketing conscious. He knew that you weren't going to get a normal Dad to jump in with both feet and try to swim his way out of the hitting ocean of information.

He was very much trying to get a short presentation that hit the highlights....to wet their whistle....to develop a reasonable starting point for Dad and son.....a 10 step (or so) program that included 20-25 slides so they could get "in the ball park".....relatively quickly.

He believed that once you got them a little bit of success that they would then dig deeper.

Anyone interested in tackling a summary?
