Step One For New Members

If you are reading this, you are in the main forum....where all the good discussion and exchange of ideas occurs.

Instructional threads are 'stickied' to the top of this forum page in an effort to get new members to see the work that gets done here. There are 5 different threads of a dad and his kid, going through the HittingIllustrated process. They are quite instructional. I think you'll be impressed with what you see. The kid's progress is amazing. One of them is now a D1 player who chose college after being drafted. Another is a DII college player. A third is his brother who is now in high school. The fourth is a current high school freshman. And the fifth is my son who is now out of college and playing amateur fastpitch softball. Take a look. The terminology is likely to confuse you at first. But do your best to understand.

Then, there is another forum titled The Second Engine, found just below this one on the main page, which consists of 18 threads that have been chosen as 'good reads' for new members to get 'up to snuff' on what is taught here.

It is my recommendation that you spend your first hour or so in that forum reading those threads. Then, come here to ask questions. We love it when clips of hitters are posted.

And here is a link to an Instructional Starter Pak. It has the basic information. There are many details that go with each step that are too cumbersome to put in the Pak.

Instructional Starter Pak

MAKE THE BEST USE OF YOUR TRIAL PERIOD
POST A CLIP OF YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER
I'LL GIVE YOU AN ANALYSIS AND A RECOMMENDATION.

If I were you, I'd concentrate on figuring out what the Hand Pivot Point and what the Rear Hip Pivot Point are....and how they are synced together to create the high level swing.

Welcome.

Can anyone get today's video of Aaron Judge off Instagram. Posted by the Yankees. Maybe the most important video for all that follow HI.com. In particular I want the side view. Maybe it's on MLB.com. Oh My I want it badly. Thanks.

Did anyone get it yet? I will check it it out and try to post.

It most certainly feels like he's swinging while his lead leg is airborne. He has a Lazy Susan corner, meaning the leg is turning everything forward but because the lower and upper back are pulling rearward he still maintains a corner. The corner started in his hip socket. Is still there but the leg turned him forward so the corner, in effect, rises up to his scap/spine as the back continues to pull back. A beautiful thing with tremendous stretching. A crescendo of stretch that builds and builds and builds..... and then snaps as the barrel is snapped rearward.

              Snapman mechanics at its best.

I don't like to tease. Ok maybe I do. But I received a phone call from David Matranga, Judges agent, and I may be having a meeting with an important MLB executive. I'm headed to New York Thu. Will keep you advised.

When i did take the time to get it right, i realized that i was just a NATURAL STUD ATHLETE. Thats something you and yours do not have or ever had, now that my skills have gone , i read and worked and learned how i hit, how i did it. The more i figured it out the more i figured out what horseshit you are. I overlooked your sorry ass disposition, people dont like you Rich. Id go so far to say...watch your back, IF YOU EVER DID MAKE A NAME FOR YOURSELF ( which you wont because you are a pitiful communicator to say the least ) you will be exposed for the utter trash that you are. Now how about those refunds for this shit site thats been down for months.

Now head back to twitter and post some more sloppy ass belly flop swings and try to stand upright while you swing. You are never going to put your shameful behavior behind you. You can try.

Ill prove how you are a hypocrit. No doubt you will ban me as you have others. You get on other sites and act a damn fool , name call, dog out young children...and then blog about how big of pussy's they are for banning you, yet you do the same.

You still to date can NOT DEFINE WHEN YOU COIL. HOW YOU TRY TO EXPLAIN IT IS THE DEFINITION OF STICKING BACK. YOU SEE THATS WHAT MAKES YOU FALL DOWN EVERY TIME YOU SWING. ITS NOT JUST THAT HORRIBLE GUT YOU HAVE.

YOU DONT PASS THE EYE TEST RICH. SORRY

Sorry. You're done. No video to support your claim is a rule violation. Intentional at that. After a clear warning. Which means you're asking to get banned. So you get what you wanted. You're welcome.

                              Good bye
