The one and only cause....of timing issues as you move from tee to toss to bp to game....and the reason those at bbd can't figure it out....is lack of stretch.

When you swing the bat instead of release it.....you have no stretch.

Everyone at bbd teaches you to swing the bat.

When teaching the swing they all concentrate on the swing....the swing this....the swing that....and then they figure out a way to load THEIR swing....which happens to be low level. It's the old jbooth problem. When all you know is a low level swing....you then work to improve that low level swing. And the loading process to do that PROHIBITS the high level pattern.

The concentration must be on proper loading....which is proper stretching. You have to have a sudden launch. The time from DECISION to CONTACT....must be as quick, must be as sudden as the time it takes a pinball flipper to flip when you hit the button. INSTANTANEOUS. Of course, when you hold a hinge angle....you have no suddenness. When you do the move....you have no suddenness. When you push the bat, you have no suddenness. When you slot then swing, you have no suddenness. When you shift then swing, you have no suddenness. When you rotate your hips, you have no suddenness. Nothing is as slow and rickety as two legged hip rotation.

But when you create the SnF load....properly.....and learn to fuse everything between the leg and the hands....so you become a bent piece of sheet metal....all fused into a unit....that can suddennly snap forward....instead of a series of links and joints that move 'about the joint'....sloppily....then you will have the suddenness it takes to simple release instead of swing.

Don't ever confuse those who have problems with their swing theory, that result in timing issues....with truthseekers.
